Organized in 1923, chartered in 1925, Incorporated in 1970, Altrusa International of Muncie, Indiana, Inc. has been providing services and supports to Muncie and Delaware County, Indiana for more than 86 years. Thursdays in Muncie are noted as Altrusan meeting days because we meet each Thursday at noon. Business and program meetings are held at Minnetrista. Committee meeting are held the second Thursday at the month in different locations in Muncie.Throughout our history, Muncie Altrusans strive to serve those in need, recognize outstanding senior women from the local high schools and provide scholarships to non-traditional women. Our focus is literacy, women and children, and service. The Muncie Altrusa club is known as the "Leaders in Service" throughout Delaware County, District Six, and Altrusa International.
